Critics of the Holy Bible (King James Version) often say that in Luke 18:12, "Tithes of all I possess"is an error and that it should say "all I acquire" because tithes were not paid on capital--only increase. This objection to the inspired Bible (King James Version) is foolish and unlearned.
Bible critics say "posses" should be "get". What they does not tell you is that at the time of 1611 it was not a passive verb. Not to mention the definition of "posses" includes "the getting". Now look at the definition of "posses".....
