I would like to hear from any of the Christian flat earth people on the following matters.

1.) Give a brief testimony of how you came to believe that the Earth is flat.

2.) If the Bible so plainly teaches that the Earth is flat (the flat earth movement YouTube videos, memes, Facebook posts, etc. say that the Bible clearly teaches this and that it is very obvious) when did you read the Bible for the first time realizing that it said this? Was it the first time you read it? Second time? Or was it in the past ten years after watching some YouTube videos on it first?

3.) Since the Christian flat earthers claim to be so Biblical in their understanding of the shape of the Earth, I am sure you will respond to question #2 with that you learned it from the Bible and not from YouTube. With that being said, what was the first verse you read that says the Earth is flat? This should be easy since most Christian flat earthers claim there are hundreds of verses explaining that the Earth is flat.

4.) By my count the word “flat” is only used 4 times in the Bible and none of those references are to the shape of the Earth. Obviously I understand that word “globe” is not in the Bible, but other terminology in the Bible references a round Earth. We see that in Jonah 2:5-6 “the deep” and the “earth and her bars” was “ROUND about” him. Per Jonah 2:1-4, he was in “hell”. Ezekiel 31:16-17, 32:18, and 32:24 shows that hell is in the “nether parts of the earth”, or the “heart of the earth” as Christ said (Matt. 12:40). So if someone like Jonah is in the “heart”of the Earth, with the Earth “ROUND about” them, that sounds like a round Earth. Or in modern terms, a “globe” Earth.

5.) The Earth has great depth, so if the Earth were flat, would it not be a cylinder and not a 2 dimensional “circle”?

6.) Heliocentricity and Geocentricity have nothing to do with the shape of the Earth. Why do flat earthers list verses on the sun rising or setting as proof that the Earth is flat? If anything, it would prove Geocentricity.

7.) Flat earthers use verses about the sun rising up and going down to teach Geocentricity, but most Flat Earth models show the sun and moon above the Earth under the “dome” moving around in circles above the earth shining like a spotlight. So neither the flat earth people nor the globe earth people take the verses literally. But from the perspective of people on the Earth, the sun does rise and set. The meteorologists telling us the weather use the same terminology and they obviously believe in the globe Earth. However, according to the Flat Earth models, the does not rise or set. It moves around in a circle under the supposed dome of the Earth like a spotlight.

8.) Flat Earthers say that the “firmament” must be a hard, form object because you can get the word “firm” out of the first 4 letters. Globe Earthers believe that the firmament refers to the heavens. Which is more Biblical? Well God said that the birds fly in the open firmament of heaven (Gen. 1:20) and said “let the firmament be called heaven” (Gen. 1:8), so I would say that the flat Earth loses again. Genesis 19:1 equates the heavens with the firmament. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”

9.) Why do flat earthers deny the existence of planets and falling stars (meteorites)? The Bible mentions such things (2 Kings. 23:5, Rev. 6:13).

10.) We can see the moon, sun, and some planets without the aid of a telescope and see that they are round (globes). We can see the stars and see that they are round. With a telescope, we can see a lot more rounds things. So is it unbiblical and unscientific that we are also on a round object?

11.) Genesis 15:5 days that the stars cannot be numbered, but if the flat earth model were correct and the stars are stuck in an ice-like dome not too far from Earth, it would be possible to count them. How is this problem reconciled by the flat earth model?

12.) Flat Earthers say that the globe Earth is Satanic. What does the shape of the Earth have to do with Satan?

13.) Flat Earthers connect the globe Earth to evolution, but the globe Earth became part of mainstream science 2,000 years ago with Pythagoras, Eratosthenes, Aristotle, etc. But evolution did not become part of mainstream secular science until the late 1800s. How are the two things related?
