"Archaic words" in the King James Bible.

Here is a list of some words from the KJB that somebody said were "archaic" and said "Why must one use an Early Modern English dictionary just to understand God's message to man?". However, these same words are used in the New American Standard Bible......

Look.....sometimes the "archaic" word is used MORE in the NASB than it is in the KJB!

I thought the modern versions were supposed to get rid of these "archaic terms"!

I realize that the KJB DOES have some archaic words, but they really do not confuse the honest student of the Bible. By comparing scripture with scripture we can often find the meaning of an "archaic" word. But nowadays we can do a google search and find the meaning of a word in seconds. Or how about the old fashioned way......DICTIONARY. By the way, the works of Dr. Sam Gipp, Dr. Douglas Stauffer, and Laurence Vance have proved that the modern versions sometimes ADD a hard to understand word in place of the easy word found in the KJB. It is also a proven fact that the KJB words use less syllables.

Also, the Biblical rule for handling "archaic" words is to DEFINE the word, but not CHANGE the word.

1 Samuel 9:
[9] (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
[10] Then said Saul to his servant, Well said; come, let us go. So they went unto the city where the man of God was.
[11] And as they went up the hill to the city, they found young maidens going out to draw water, and said unto them, Is the seer here?
