Would you pray a prayer like this?

Would you pray a prayer like this?

"Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication...Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them." (Ps. 55:1, 15)

Or do you think you should do this?

"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." (2 Cor. 5:19-21)

Would you pray this prayer?

"Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me." (Ps. 51:11)

Or do you believe that you are sealed with the Holy Spirit until your body is redeemed at the rapture?

"That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." (Eph. 1:12-14)

"And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." (Eph. 4:30)

Rightly dividing the word of truth is very important! (2 Tim. 2:15)

Make sure you are following what God is doing NOW, not what He was doing in "time past" or in "the ages to come".
