Social Darwinism demonstrates the wickedness behind Atheism

This is from a kids education website called "Brain Pop". Even they admit that Darwinism has terrible consequences, it degenerates society into stupid animals. Darwinists have no reason to believe in morals and ethics! Which is why the highly esteemed Darwinist author Richard Dawkins says that he has no problem with "mild" actions of Pedophiles.

The motive behind Atheism is not science or intelligence, it is SIN.

"Charles Darwin’s theory of natural selection revolutionized the scientific world. But its ripples were felt in many other fields, too—sometimes with unfortunate consequences.

An example of this is a theory called social Darwinism, supported by British thinkers like Herbert Spencer and Francis Galton (who was actually Charles Darwin’s cousin). According to social Darwinists, societies evolve in the same way that organisms do. So-called “weak” members of society—those who are physically or mentally “inferior”—are removed from the gene pool by natural processes, until society itself reaches a perfect state.

This was a major mis-application of Darwin’s ideas. In nature, the changes brought about by natural selection don’t have a specific goal. Instead, they’re merely reactions to changes in the environment.

At a time when the poor faced extremely unfair working and living conditions, social Darwinists claimed that the poor were naturally “inferior” to their rich bosses, and that helping them would violate the laws of nature. Social Darwinism was used to support colonialism and militarism—after all, if one country can invade and occupy another, isn’t it just demonstrating its natural superiority?

Most frighteningly, it was used to justify the horrific ideas of Adolf Hitler. In Nazi Germany, mentally and physically disabled people were either sterilized (prevented from being able to reproduce) or murdered in order to “strengthen” society. And the Holocaust was a Nazi attempt to remove “inferior” Jewish genes from Europe.

Fortunately, after the world witnessed the evil social Darwinism had caused in World War II, the theory was widely discredited during the second half of the 20th century."
