THE MAN SICK WITH A PALSY--NOT BAPTIZED BUT RECEIVED REMISSION OF SINS.
 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

ZACCHAEUS--CHIEF PUBLICAN AND THIEF/LIAR. SAVED WITHOUT BAPTISM AFTER CALLING UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD (Rom. 10:13)
 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.
 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.
 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
 And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.
 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
THE THIEF ON THE CROSS. FIRST MAN SAVED AFTER THE BLOOD OF THE NEW TESTAMENT WAS SHED AND DIED UNDER THE NEW TESTAMENT, AFTER CALLING UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD.
 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
1 Corinthians 15:
 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1 Corinthians 15:8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
CORNELIUS. SAVED AND LED OF THE HOLY GHOST BEFORE BAPTISM. (is used as the very illustration of saved by grace through faith)
 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
ONESIMUS. BORN AGAIN BY THE GOSPEL AND MADE A BROTHER IN CHRIST WHILE IN BONDS/PRISON....OBVIOUSLY NOT BAPTIZED WHILE IN PRISON.
Philemon 1:10 I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
Philemon 1:16 Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
Not to mention all of the occasions where the apostle Paul started churches and preached the gospel without baptizing as recorded in Acts 13-15, Acts 17, Acts 19-28.
Paul did not baptize all of the Corinthian believers, yet he was the one that got them saved by preaching the Gospel of the Grace of God to them.....
1 Corinthians 1:
 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.
 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
1 Corinthians 4:
 I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.
 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
Paul did not baptize all of the Corinthians, some of them were baptized by other men, yet Paul was the one that begot them in Christ through the preaching of the Gospel. It was the preaching of the cross that got the Corinthians saved, not the water baptizing. Many of the Corinthians were baptized, but obviously not all of them were (1 Cor. 1:10-17). However, ALL of them were baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ...
1 Corinthians 12:
 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
 For the body is not one member, but many.
 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
When a person believes the Gospel they are sprinkled with the blood of Christ and their sins are washed away, also purging their conscience....
Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
Water baptism under Israel's Gospel of the Kingdom was an outward sign of an inward grace, the blood of Christ was sprinkled on their hearts giving them a good conscience toward God and water baptism was the outward sign of that....
Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Water baptism was not what put away the filth of the flesh, only the blood of Christ could do that (Rev. 1:5) when it was sprinkled on their hearts giving them a good conscience toward God (Heb. 10:22, 1 Pet. 1:2, 3:21, Heb. 9:12-14). Water baptism was an outward figure of what God did to the heart of man, of course, water baptism no longer has any part in God's revelation to the Church which is the Body of Christ under the Dispensation of Grace (Eph. 3:1-9, Rom. 6:14, 1 Cor. 1:17). Under Grace we are complete in Christ the moment we believe the Gospel (Gal. 3:1-3) and the only baptism (and also circumcision) we have is spiritual according to Colossians 2:10-13. There is only "one baptism" in the unity of the Spirit and calling of the believer under Grace (Eph. 4:1-6).
