Should Christians drink alcohol?

No!

Here are two good sermons on it.

"Wine in the Bible" by Pastor Steven Anderson

Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

Proverbs 23:
[29] Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
[30] They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
[31] Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.
[32] At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
[33] Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things
.

Proverbs 31:
[1] The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.
[2] What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
[3] Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
[4] It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
[5] Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
[6] Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
[7] Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more
.

Note: Colossians 2:16, "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink..." has nothing to do with alcohol. The context is ceremonial Jewish ordinances, not alcohol. The issue with fermented liquor is that it causes you to sin. Some Christians say that the no alcohol restriction was only OT, but drunkeness is spoken against throughout the Bible. In fact, it looks like Paul is quoting Proverbs 20:1 in Ephesians 5:17-18.

Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

Ephesians 5:17-18 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
