Hoss vs Brian Kelson (Acts 28.net). Old Testament salvation.
Here is my refute to Mr. Brian Kelson's (Acts 28.net) Bullingerism propaganda. His article in red font.
"The ministry of the Lord and John the Baptist was to the nation and it was an appeal for them to repent and turn back to God, this continued through the Acts period of course and the Lord's ministry was completely OT based. "
Let me stop you there Kelson, I get the feeling that you are about to confuse things. Here is an outline for you.
1.) Israel receives the Old Testament and Law of Moses (Hebrews 9:18-22)
2.) Israel fails at keeping God's law and statutes miserably.
3.) The prophets prophesy of the New Covenant that will be made with Israel at the 2nd coming of Christ. This covenant will be made and this is when Israel's sins will be taken away. After this, God will CAUSE the Jews to keep His law perfectly by giving them a new heart and His Spirit (Ezekiel 36:19-33, Jeremiah 31:31-34, 32:37-42).
4.) Christ comes to fulfill the law and provide the sacrificial death needed for the New Covenant to begin. The sacrificial death of Christ would allow Israel to get in Him through receiving His Spirit and being redeemed by His blood. This way, Israel can be "in Him" and "saved in the Lord". If they are not in Him, they won't be able to fulfill the law--they have to come through Him (Isaiah 45:15-25) to fulfill the New Covenant promise. (Isaiah 53, John 17,).
5.) Israel fell in Acts 7 after blaspheming the Holy Ghost (see http://av1611studyblog.blogspot.com/2014/10/dispensational-facts.html ) and Israel's prophetic plan was put on hold. According to Romans 11:25-27, "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins." The fall and casting away of Israel (see all of Romans 11) did not defeat God's prophetic plan for Israel, it WILL be accomplished in the future. But for now God is building the body of Christ and in the mean time Israel has been blinded (1 Cor. 4:1, 6:15-18, 10:16-17, 12:12-14, Rom. 6:14, 12:5, 16:25, etc.).
Now I will look at Kelson's post again....
"I can't remember the number of times the Lord quoted the OT, including the Law but as we know, it was the Law of Moses and the Prophets up until Acts 28. "
No no no....Apparently you have never read the book of Romans or Galatians. Paul taught that the Gentiles were all members of Christ's spiritual body where there is neither Jew nor Gentile and that they were "not under the law, but under grace"!!!!
Romans 3:
[21] But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
[22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
[23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
[24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 6:
[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
[2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
[3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
[4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
[5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
[6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
[7] For he that is dead is freed from sin.
[8] Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
[9] Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
[10] For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
[11] Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
[12] Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
[13] Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
[14] For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Romans 7:
[6] But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
[7] What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
Galatians 2:
[16] Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
[17] But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
[18] For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
[19] For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
[20] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
[21] I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Galatians 3:
[1] O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
[2] This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[3] Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
[4] Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
[5] He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[6] Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
[7] Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
[8] And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
[9] So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
[10] For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
[11] But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
[12] And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
[13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
[14] That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
[15] Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
[16] Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
[17] And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
[18] For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
[19] Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
[20] Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
[21] Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
[22] But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
[23] But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
[24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
[25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
[26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
[27] For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
[28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
[29] And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
THE LAW SAYS
Genesis 17:
[10] This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
[11] And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
[12] And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
[13] He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
[14] And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
Leviticus 12:3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
PAUL SAID
Galatians 5:
[1] Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
[2] Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
[3] For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
[4] Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
[5] For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
[6] For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
[7] Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
[8] This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
[9] A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
[10]
I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none
otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment,
whosoever he be.
[11] And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
[12] I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
[13]
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty
for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
THE LAW SAYS
Exodus 31:14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
PAUL SAID
Galatians 4:
[9] But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
[10] Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
[11] I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
Mr. Kelson did not do his homework!
"It was Moses and the Prophets who appealed to backsliding Israel to turn back, and this was the basis of the Lord's ministry. He said;
Mat 5:17 Do not think that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to destroy but to fulfill.
Mat 5:18 For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law until all is fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Therefore whoever shall relax one of these commandments, the least, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of Heaven. But whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven.
Mat 5:20 For I say to you that unless your righteousness shall exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of Heaven.
The very beatitudes are all OT based and the instructions following this extract above were all relating to the Temple services and offerings of the Israeli people."
That is all true, but Mr. Kelson is about to get into heresy.
"Yes, the Lord taught the Law and the Prophets insofar as they were the dispensational settings of that time and justification by faith was part of that Law as Paul brings out in Romans 10."
There it is! HERESY. Paul said no such thing in Romans 10. The plan of salvation in the Old Testament was faith+works. You were to keep the commandments with all your HEART (faith plus works).
Deuteronomy 30:
[1] And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
[2] And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
[3] That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
[4] If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
[5] And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
[6] And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
[7] And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
[8] And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
[9] And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
[10] If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
God makes it clear that the Jews need to keep His commandments with their whole heart or else they will be cursed. However, if they want to live, they can obey God and be blessed. Works alone could NOT save, God is not impressed with dead works. Outside of the dispensation of grace, God is not impressed with dead faith either. The Old Testament plan of salvation was based on if you kept God's statutes faithfully with your whole heart. Read the book of Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 3:
[18] When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
[19] Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
[20] Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
[21] Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Ezekiel 18:
[18] As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.
[19] Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.
[20] The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
[21] But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
[22] All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
[23] Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
[24] But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
[25] Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
[26] When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
[27] Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
[28] Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
[29] Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?
[30] Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
[31] Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
[32] For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
That is quite clear......did God ever say in the Law that salvation was "not of works lest any man should boast"??? NO!
Now of course God did show extra mercy in the Old Testament when mad did not deserve it (look at David), but the standard method of salvation was obviously "when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive." (Ezek. 18:27)
Look at what Paul says about Old Testament salvation.
Romans 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things [the law] shall live by them [the law].
That matches what we read in Ezekiel--"the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.....in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live."
However, salvation in this dispensation is "no MORE of works". Meaning that it HAD BEEN, but not anymore.
Romans 11:
[5] Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
[6] And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Mr. Kelson believes that since Paul quoted Deuteronomy in Romans 10 that it means Moses was justified "by grace through faith". Let's have a look at Romans 10.
Romans 10:
[6] But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
[7] Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
[8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Paul is quoting an Old Testament passage of scripture, Deuteronomy 30.
Deuteronomy 30:
[11] For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
[12] It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
[13] Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
[14] But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
[15] See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
[16] In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
[17] But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
[18] I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
[19] I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
[20] That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
Deuteronomy 30 is saying that Jews HAVE God's commandments and that they do not have to go to heaven or across the sea to receive the commandments and do them--God had already delivered them to Moses. Paul drew application from Deuteronomy 30 by saying that CHRIST already came down from heaven and died for us, we do not have to go and get Him. He already DID the work--that is a contrast to Deuteronomy 30 because the Jews were talking about something TO DO and Paul was saying that we do NOT have to do anything to be saved.
Mr. Kelson chose a poor proof text.
"The tax-collector went home from the Temple justified by faith, Lk.18:9-14."
No no no!
Luke 18:
[9] And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
[10] Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
[11] The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
[12] I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
[13] And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
[14] I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
How does this teach that justification has always been "by grace through faith". What type of "justification" do you think this is? Was the plan of salvation going to the temple and humbly saying "Lord be merciful to me a sinner"???
Christ is telling a parable under the Law dispensation while the gospel of the kingdom is being preached. Christ is teaching that those who "trusted in themselves that they were righteous" were not saved. That is NOT faith--that is only works. According to Psalms 4:4-5 those who offered sacrifices had to TRUST GOD--not the works themselves. "Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD."
The parable in Luke 18 is about where your TRUST is, obviously. Again, Mr. Kelson's proof text did not prove anything.
I do find it interesting that Mr. Kelson uses a PARABLE to prove that Old Testament salvation was "by grace through faith".....for when I use Luke 16 to prove that hell is a literal-eternal torment, Mr. Kelson says that it is "only" a "parable" WHEN IT IS NEVER CALLED A PARABLE.
"It's such a blinding tragedy that the MAs teach justification by faith through grace was hidden in God when it is clearly given in the Law and the Prophets. The Pharisee worked the Law, the tax-collector beat upon his chest in true repentance and placed himself on the mercy of God."
There is nothing "blinding" about it. It is a Bible fact. Salvation without works is NOT "clearly given in the law and the prophets".
Meanwhile it is the Acts 28 position that teaches that you must complete your salvation BY WORKS... see here

Made perfect by the flesh? (Part 2)
http://av1611studyblog.blogspot.com/2014/08/made-perfect-by-flesh-part-2.html
Also, salvation by the faith of Christ is a completely dispensation-of-grace-only doctrine.
Salvation for the Jews in the tribulation involves enduring to the end of it without taking the mark of the beast and enduring to the end and overcoming the anti-Christ (Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 26, 3:5, 12, 21, 14:9-11, 21:7, 1 John 2:13-14, 4:4, 5:4-5, Matthew 10:22, 24:13, Mark 13:13). This enduring is done by the Jew's own faith--that is the faith of men. The faith of men requires works to be made perfect and that type of justification is a process (James 2:14-26, 1 Peter 1:7-10, 1 John 5:4). Since this type of salvation is dependent on mans faith, which must be made perfect/proven by works, some of the Jews will be "scarcely saved" (1 Peter 4:18). Those who lose their faith will not be justified (Hebrews 10:22-23, 38-39).
That is different from the salvation that Paul taught. Christ allows Christians in this age to be justified without works and He justifies people by His own faith, which is already perfect (Ephesians 1:7, 13, 2:8-9, 3:12, 4:30, Romans 3-5, 8:8, 11:6, Titus 3:5, 2 Timothy 1:9, 1 Corinthians 15:1-5, Acts 13:38-39, 16:31, Galatians 2:16-20, 3:1-29, Philippians 3:9). Christ was faithful to God His entire life on earth, believing the Father and His word (Matthew 4), obedient unto the death of the cross (Philippians 2), and "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect..." (Hebrews 5:8-9). He was tempted as we are, yet was faithful to the Father and obeyed the word of God (Hebrews 4:15). It the "faith of Christ" whereby we are justified in this present age--not out own. Of course we must put our faith in Christ to receive Christ's atonement and Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13, Romans 3:25), but after that we are justified and kept by His faith (Romans 3:22, Galatians 2:16-20, Ephesians 3:12).
Paul describes this in 2 Timothy 2:11-13.
"It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself."

Thankfully salvation is completely without OUR works in this present dispensation (Rom. 6:14, 11:6) and it is all based on Christ's work (1 Cor. 15:1-4, Acts 13:-38-39). Anyone who believes that Christ died for their sins and rose again the three days later--anyone who trusts Him alone will be saved (Eph. 1:13).
