Does the Body of Christ go through the Tribulation?
Another reason why the Body of Christ does not go through any of the Tribulation.
Galatians 1:
[6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
[7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
[9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
[10] For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
[11] But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
[12] For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Paul wrote to Church Age believers that were in the Body of Christ (Gal. 2:16-21, 3:26-28, 6:15) that had been born again (Gal. 4:9, 29) and were not under the Law but under grace (Gal. 5:1-6, 18).
Paul told these Church Age believers that if anyone preached any other gospel to them other than the gospel of the grace of God that was first revealed to him (Gal. 1:11-12, Acts 20:24) than that person was "accursed" and had perverted the gospel. Therefore the Body of Christ (Gal. 3:26-28) CANNOT go through ANY of the Time of Jacob's Trouble (Tribulation--Jer. 30:7).
In the Tribulation the Gospel of the Kingdom gets preached to all the world (Matt. 24:13-14) and that is NOT the gospel that Paul preached. The gospel of the Kingdom requires forgiving others, selling all, belief, overcoming the antichrist, water baptism, and keeping the Law. Matthew 6:11-34, 10:22-33, 18:35, 19:16-23, 24:13-15, Mark 1:3-5, 6:7-9, 10:21, 16:16, Luke 3:3, 7:29-30, 9:1-4, 12:21-33, Acts 2:38, 2:44-46, 3:2-6, 4:32-37, 5:1-11, Rev. 2:11, 2:17, 2:26, 3:5, 3:8, 3:12, 3:21, 12:17, 14:12, 15:2, 22:18-19).
The Body of Christ cannot go through the Tribulation......
Matthew 24:13-21 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Not only that, there is yet ANOTHER gospel that will be preached at the end of the Tribulation. (preached by "an angel from heaven"!)
Revelation 14:
[6] And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
[7] Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
That angel is not "accursed", therefore the Church CANNOT be present in "them that dwell on the earth"! We (the Body) are gone before any of the Tribulation takes place. Our conversation, blessings, and inheritance is in heaven and we will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air (Eph. 1:3, 2:6, 1 Thes. 4:13-18, Phil. 3:20-21, Col. 3:1-4, 1 Cor. 15:51-58). The rapture of Israel at the end of the Tribulation is to the LAND, not to heaven (see Jeremiah 30-33, Ezekiel 36-37).
There are many other ways to prove that the Body of Christ does not go through any of the Tribulation:
1.) The Body of Christ is not under the Law (Rom. 3-8, Eph. 2, Gal. 2-6, Col. 2, etc.) but the Tribulation believers are (Matt. 24:20, Heb. 7:12, Acts 2:46, Acts 10:10-28, Acts 21:18-20, Jer. 31:33, Isa. 2:3, Micah, 4:2, Matt. 23:1-3, Col. 2:17 etc.).
2.) In the Tribulation, 2nd Advent, Millennium, etc. being a Jew is important (Rev. 2:9, Rev. 3:9, 1 Pet. 2:5, 1 Pet. 2:9, Jer. 30:1-24, Jer. 31:31-34, Jer. 32:36-42, Jer. 33:4-18, Ezek. 11:14-21, Ezek. 36:12-38, Joel 2:1-32, Isa. 2:1-4, Psa. 2:1-8, Gen. 49:10, Deut. 18:15-19, Isa. 11:1-12, Jer. 23:3-8, Isa. 60:1-22, Isa. 61:6-11, Exod. 19:6, Hos. 1:5-11, Exod. 4:22, Luke 1:30-33, Matt. 24:1-46, Matt. 19:27-30, Joel 3:14-17, Num. 24:17, Micah 5:2, Micah 4:1-7, Hab. 3:1-17, Zeph. 3:8-20, Ps. 68:1-35, Rev. 1:7, Rev. 6:12-17, Rev. 19:11-15, Zech. 1:14-17, Zech. 2:1-13, Zech. 3:1-10, Zech. 6:12-13, Zech. 8:1-23, Zech. 14:1-21, Mal. 3:1-5, Ezek. 37:21-28, Amos 9:8-15, Ezek. 37:1-14, Acts 2-5, etc.). But in the Body of Christ being a Jew will profit you NOTHING (Gal. 2-6, Eph. 2-3, Col. 1-3, 1 Cor. 12:12-14, Rom. 3-8, Rom 11:1-15, Rom. 11:25-32, etc.).
3.) The beginning of the Body of Christ and present age was a mystery hid in God (Rom. 16:25, Eph. 3:1-9, Col. 1:24-28, 1 Cor. 2:7, 1 Cor. 4:1, Eph. 5:23-32, etc.) and so will the end of it (1 Cor. 15:51, 1 Thes. 4:15). However, the Tribulation and 2nd Advent are the main themes of prophecy.
4.) There will be many signs/wonders being performed in the Tribulation (Joel 2, Mark 16, Rev. 11, etc.) but in the Church Age the signs ceased with the completion of the word of God (1 Cor. 13:8-12, 1 Cor. 14:20-21, 1 Cor. 3:1-3, Heb. 5:11-14, 1 Pet. 2:2, James 1:21-25).
And there are many more.
