More points/notes on eternal security

Romans 8:
[31] What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
[32] He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
[33] Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
[34] Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
[35] Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Ephesians 1:13-14, 4:30
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory....And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

2 Timothy 2:

1 Corinthians 1:

1 Corinthians 6:
[9] Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
[10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
[11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God
.

1.) Our salvation is IN CHRIST, not our own works. We are nto saved because of any work that we have done. So if we could lose our salvation then it would e because Christ somehow failed in some way. Our salvation is receiving Christ (John 1:12-13), if we could lose our salvation then it would be because of Christ, not us.

2.) We have already been forgiven ALL trespasses....therefore we cannot lose our salvation because of any trespass we have committed.

3.) Nothing can separate us from the love of God.

4.) We are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, which is the rapture and redeeming of our physical body (Rom. 8:23-24, 1 Cor. 15:51-58).

5.) We are members of Christ's body and He CANNOT deny Himself.

6.) We are justified and kept by Christ's faith, not our own (Gal. 2:16-21, Gal. 3:22, Phil. 3:9, Eph. 3:12, Rom. 3:22, 2 Tim. 2:13). 

7.) If on Saturday we believed on Christ and got eternal life , but then we "lost our salvation" on Sunday.....was the life we had really "eternal"? NO! We have "everlasting life", we can't lose something that is everlasting! (John 3:36)

8.) Such passages that say enduring to the end is a requirement for salvation are ALWAYS in the context of the gospel of the kingdom, not the gospel of the grace of God. They have to do with the 2nd coming and enduring to the end of the tribulation. (see all of Matthew 24)

9.) We are in God's hand and because of that we shall never perish. God is greater than ALL and so we have no worry about being plucked from His hand.

10.) As carnal and backslidden as the Corinthian church was, Paul still said that they were "sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints....the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you....Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ....ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God".

    That's great stuff! And I love it.
    What can I say? Apart from a very minor difference I give you a big AMEN!
