"It doesn't read like my King James Version" by Ron Daly

A critique of another article written by the devil seduced accursed heretick, Ron Daly, of the Church of the Antichrist (1 Tim. 4:1, Gal. 1:6-9, 2 Cor. 2:17, 4:2, 11:4, 11:13-15). Ron Daly is a proponent of using at least 3 different perversions of the word of God an says that he is planning on coming up with his own "bible".

"It Doesn’t Read Like My King James Version

Recently, a dear sister in the Lord asked me, why modem English translations of the scriptures read differently than the King James Version in numerous places [LOL]. It is an excellent question and it proceeded from a sincere heart. First, allow me to give a little background which will form the basis of my response.

["numerous places" is a lie. The NIV is missing 64,000 words, 15 verses, and thousands of other words are changed to attack the doctrines of the blood atonement, Deity of Christ, and the Trinity. Here are a few examples (the underlined phrases are omitted in the NIV):

Matthew 1:25And knew her not till she had brought forth her  firstborn son.
Matthew 5:44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
Matthew 6:13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Matthew 20:22But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
Matthew 23:14Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows'  houses,  and for  a pretence make  long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation

The first Bible I was given after I obeyed the gospel was a King James Version. I memorized many Old and New Testament passages from it, but I soon realized that it used a form of English that was archaic, awkward, and often difficult to understand. The kind of English spoken in this country is not the English of the King James Version. This is not to say that the King James is a bad translation, but it does mean that it makes God’s word more difficult to understand than it has to be.

God blessed me to begin the study of New Testament Greek in 1976, and I began the serious study of Hebrew in the early 1980’s. I soon learned that the “original” languages in which God’s word was spoken and written were among the languages common to the time. They were spoken in day to day commerce. They were not merely the languages of religious contexts. They were largely “common” languages of day to day communication. Since God gave his word in the languages of the people, shouldn’t scripture be translated in clear idiomatic ordinary English?
[Hebrew and Greek were not the ONLY "original" languages. God was inspiring His word in all the languages of the day through the gift of tongues until the Bible was completed (1 Cor. 13:8-12, 14:36-37, etc.)]

Some people think the King James Version is the word of God, and that any deviation from it is equal to adding to and taking from the scriptures.

The truth is, the King James was not the first English translation [Duh.]; it is not the only translation [Duh.]; and it is not the best translation. ["Best" is not an attribute of scripture. It is called "truth", "holy", "pure", and "given by inspiration", but never "best.] There is a sizable group of people in and out of the Lord’s body who are “King James Onlyists,” and they believe the religious world turns on the King James.
[That is because the King James Bible IS the only pure Bible in the English language. It has been proven to be the ONE Book that has no errors and exalts the Lord more than any other book.]

Yet, not even they speak King James English in their ordinary day to day conversations! [Duh.] For instance, in 2 Corinthians 8:1 the King James Version says, “Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia.” Notice the phrase “do you to wit.” Who speaks in such a way today? Do you understand the phrase as it stands in the text? Why or why not? The American Standard Version says “we make known to you.” The English Standard Version says, “We want you to know.” The New International Version-2011 says, “we want you to know.” Those translations have not added to or changed the word of God. They have simply made dear what the King James Version obscures. The archaisms in the King James Version can be multiplied. This doesn’t mean the KJV is totally incomprehensible, but it does mean that it has problems like all other versions. [No it doesn't, it is pure and inspired (Ps. 12:6-7, 2 Tim. 3:15-17)] God’s Hebrew and Greek texts are perfect; translations of it are not because they are produced by men who are not guided by the Holy Spirit in their work."

Ron Daly is a liar. There is no such thing as "God’s Hebrew and Greek texts". There are close to 25 different copies of the Textus Receptus, 28 different editions of Nestle, and about 50 more different Greek texts. All of these have critical notes showing alternate readings and variants in crucial verses about fundamental doctrines of the Bible. Why doesn't Ron Daly tell us which one is perfect? The differences between the Textus Receptus texts and the Alexandrian perverse texts are drastic, they cannot both be correct. Ron Daly is a liar.

Lastly Mr. Daly says that translations are not perfect. "God’s Hebrew and Greek texts are perfect; translations of it are not because they are produced by men who are not guided by the Holy Spirit in their work". Yet the Bible demonstrates that there are many inspired translations....

There are hundreds of Old Testament quotes (originally written in Hebrew) that are found written in the New Testament (originally written in Greek). God inspired New Testament writers to quote Hebrew writings in Greek, those are inspired translations. [Note: some would contend that Jesus and the apostles did not quote Hebrew scriptures but rather a so called Greek "Septuagint". But there is no record of any Septuagint existing before 250-330 AD. Jesus quoted HEBREW scriptures, not a Greek translation according to Matthew 5:17-20.]

Acts 21:40-22:21 records an inspired translation. Notice that Paul speaks in HEBREW "And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,...." BUT Luke wrote Paul's words down in the New Testament in GREEK. God used Luke to write a perfect translation of what Paul said in Hebrew.

Here is a whole list of inspired translations found within the Bible:

A.) Ge 42:18-20; cf Ge 42:23: Joseph spoke in Egyptian; his words were recorded in Scripture in Hebrew
B.) Ezra 4: A Syrian letter. The “copy” follows Ezra 4:11 in Hebrew.

The next problem is that Mr. Daly said that the Holy Spirit does not guide in the translation of scripture. That is a lie. God has promised to preserve His word perfectly and forever (Joshua 1:8, Isaiah 30:8, 40:8, 55:10-11, 59:21, Psalms 12:6-7, 100:5, 117:2, 119:89-91, 119:160, 1 Peter 1:23-2:2, Matthew 5:17-18, 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33, John 6:63, 10:35, 17:17, 2 Timothy 3:15-17, and Ephesians 5:26-27). He said that it is the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6:17). Yet Mr. Daly says that the Holy Spirit does not guide in the translation and copying of scripture!

Notice that the Bible originates with God (inspiration) and that God is also the one who KEEPS it (preservation).

2 Timothy 3:
[15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
:

Psalms 12:
[6] The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
[7] Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever
.

Mr. Daly is clearly preaching the doctrines of devils, declaring that God's word has errors and that God is not preserving His word.

This generation shall not pass?

After speaking of Daniel's 70th week and the regathering of Israel, the Lord told His disciples "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." (Matt. 16:27-28, 24:34, Mark 8:38-9:1, 13:30, Luke 9:26-27, 21:32). However, obviously the 12 apostles died and never experienced Daniel's 70th week. This is something I have never heard Post-Tribulation rapture proponents mention. Because if they did mention this issue, it would prove their doctrine to be heresy.

Matthew 16:27-28 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Mark 8:38-9:1 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

Mark 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

Luke 9:26-27 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

Luke 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

Since the believers of the gospel of the kingdom died and never experienced Daniel's 70th week, this creates an apparent contradiction. There are only two ways to explain this. #1, The Lord was mistaken. This is obviously not true. #2, There was a change of plan. This is clearly the answer, God changed His plan and postponed Daniel's 70th week. But when did this change occur? It obviously had not changed in Acts chapters 1-3 because the 12 apostles asked the Lord "wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?" (Acts 1:6). And in Acts 3:19-26 Peter boldly offered this Kingdom to Israel with Christ coming to be their King....

Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Acts 2:
[29] Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
[30] Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne
;

Acts 3:
[19] Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
[20] And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
[21] Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
[22] For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
[23] And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
[24] Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
[25] Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
[26] Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities
.

The 12 apostles offered the Kingdom of Heaven to the nation of Israel, they were looking for Christ to come back and sit on the throne of David and restore all things. According to Peter, these things had been spoken of by all the prophets since the world began. The covenant between the children of Israel and God was still in place (3:25). This is what Gabriel announced when he appeared to Mary to announce the First Coming of Christ....

Luke 1:
[31] And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
[32] He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
[33] And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end
.

This is the same Jewish Kingdom gospel that the Holy Ghost spoke of through Zacharias....

Luke 1:
[67] And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
[68] Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
[69] And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
[70] As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
[71] That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
[72] To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
[73] The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
[74] That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
[75] In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life
.

During Christ's earthly ministry, He and the apostles preached that His Kingdom was at hand and to pray for it to come to the earth.

Matthew 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 5:34-35 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Matthew 6:9-10 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Matthew 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Mark 1:14-15 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Then at what point did Israel fall and the Kingdom's coming postponed? It was when Christ revealed the mystery dispensation of grace to Paul. Israel as a whole was rejecting the offer of the Kingdom and so the Lord made known to Paul the new Gospel of the Grace of God and the mystery of Christ. (often referred to as "the church age")

Ephesians 3:
[1] For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
[2] If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to youward:
[3] How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
[4] Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
[5] Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
[6] That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
[7] Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
[8] Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
[9] And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ
:

Ephesians 5:
[23] For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
[24] Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
[25] Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
[26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
[27] That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
[28] So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
[29] For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
[30] For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
[31] For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
[32] This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church
.

Colossians 1:
[25] Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
[26] Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
[27] To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
[28] Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus
:

Colossians 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

The church which is the Body of Christ is not found in Old Testament prophecy or anywhere outside of Paul's epistles, it was a great mystery hid in God until revealed to the apostle Paul. It is because of the Mystery of Christ (Jew/Gentile reconciled into one Body by the Gospel) that the Kingdom doctrine was postponed. Paul says that it is God's mystery program for the Gentiles that is postponing God's dealings with Israel.....

Romans 11:
[25] For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
[26] And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
[27] For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins
.

God has not castaway Israel forever, only temporarily (Rom. 11:1-13, 11:25-27).

The beginning of this present dispensation was a mystery (Rom. 11:25, Eph. 3:1-9) and so is its ending (1 Thes. 4:15, 1 Cor. 15:51). It is a MYSTERY age not found anywhere outside of Paul's epistles. That is why all post-tribulation rapture proponents ignore all of these facts, if they divide the mystery age of Grace from the prophetic scriptures about Israel, then they will have to admit that both the start and fullness of the Body of Christ were mysteries hid in God and that the rapture of believing Israel is not the rapture of the Body of Christ under Grace (Eph. 3:1-9, 1 Cor. 15:51, 1 Thes. 4:15, Rom. 11:25-27).

"Important Resources For The Bible Student" by Ron Daly

"Important Resources For The Bible Student

There are certain indispensable resources that every serious student of the Bible needs for the correct interpretation of the sacred writings. Why? Because there are words that need to be defined, concepts that need to be understood, and passages that need to be explained and applied for the spiritual well-being of the soul.

The first indispensable resource is an accurate translation of the
scriptures. Translations may be generally categorized as follows:

  • modified-literal,
  • idiomatic, and
  • paraphrase.
The modified-literal translations are those that follow the “word for word” approach when possible. They attempt to reflect closeness to the original text. They sometimes retain the word order of the Hebrew and Greek texts. This makes them difficult to read in many passages because Hebrew and Greek word order is not identical to English structure. Examples of the modified-literal translations are-

  • American Standard Version-1901;
  • Revised Standard Version-1971;
  • New American Standard Version-1995; and
  • English Standard Version-2011.
The idiomatic versions are those that seek to express the meaning of the Hebrew and Greek texts in modem understandable English. They try to be modified-literal when possible, but they do not hesitate to explain or “interpret” the text when necessary. All translations, even the “modified-literal” ones have some degree of translation. The idiomatic versions simply contain more “interpretation.” Why? Because their main point of focus is to enable the reader to read and understand the text in up to date English. Examples of idiomatic translations are-

  • New International Version-2011;
  • New Living Translation;
  • New Revised Standard Version-1989, and
  • Holman Christian Standard Bible-2009.
The paraphrases are generally expansions of the text in that they aim to “restate” passages in another way in order to clarify meaning. This is not necessarily or inherently a bad approach, though when they miss the meaning of a passage they usually miss it badly. It is like a blind hunter shooting where he thinks the rabbit is instead of shooting where the rabbit really is. Every translation contains some degree of paraphrase. Examples of paraphrases are-

  • The Living Bible;
  • The Contemporary English Version;
  • The New Century Version, and
  • The Message.
Occasionally, the paraphrases give a “fresh” or memorable “take” on a passage of scripture.
The serious student of the Bible should have at least one of each type of the aforementioned English translations. But a person’s main Bible should be one that is modified-literal for several reasons: they tend to be close to the Hebrew and Greek in form. Modified-literal versions are a good backbone for the Bible student. The ASV-1901 is probably the best of such versions. It is difficult to buy a new ASV because to my knowledge no major publisher sells it. For this reason the ESV and the NASB are good second choices. The NIV-2011 is probably the best of the idiomatic versions. It is eminently readable and generally accurate. The paraphrases are a tossup. Six for one and a half dozen of the others." written by false prophet Ron Daly, the cult leader of the Emerson Avenue Church of the Antichrist.

Notice how Mr. Daly begins his article by saying that a Bible student must have "resources" in order to get the correct "interpretation" of the scriptures. That is heresy. You do not need "resources" to understand the Bible. All you need in order to understand the Bible is to be saved (1 Cor. 2:10-14). You grow by the word of God, not by "resources" (2 Tim. 3:15-17, 1 Pet. 2:2). And besides all of that, nobody has any business "interpreting" the Bible. Peter said: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation (2 Pet. 1:20). Do you know what "interpreting" the Bible is? It is when a man reads what the Bible says and then tells what it "MEANS". "Interpretation" is the most wicked/satanic Bible perversion there is. It is handling the word of God deceitfully (2 Cor. 4:2). When someone starts telling you what the Bible "means" (known as "interpreting") instead of just repeating what it says then they are not handling the word of God honestly.

2 Corinthians 4:
[1] Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
[2] But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God
.

But Mr. Daly says, "there are words that need to be defined, concepts that need to be understood, and passages that need to be explained". I don't think so. The Bible explains itself. It is a living Book that has eternally existed in heaven and it knows our hearts and foresees the actions of God Himself.

Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Psalms 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. (there was no written scripture on the earth at the time of Abraham, it was in heaven--Ps. 119:82)

Mr. Daly believes that there are "resources" that we "need" in order to "define", "explain", and "understand" the Bible. Just as Mr. Daly believes that you need man to get you into Christ, he also believes that you need man to make the Bible clear and alive. Thankfully the Bible is already clear, sure, alive, quick, and powerful without any man. There is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, and His word is all we need to come to Him (John 5:24, 5:39-40, 5:46-47, 1 Tim. 2:4-5, 2 Tim. 3:15, James 1:18, 1 Pet. 1:23).

Next Mr. Daly says "The first indispensable resource is an accurate translation of the scriptures." What does that mean? What does "accurate" mean? Who decides what is accurate and what is not? "Accurate" is never a term that is applied to the Bible within its own record. The Lord said that His word was truth (John 17:17), the Psalms say it is "very pure" (Ps. 12:6, 119:165), Paul said they were "holy" and "given by inspiration of God", and Peter said that the Bible was living (1 Pet. 1:23-25). "Accurate" is never a term used to apply to the Bible.

Next Mr. Daly says "the original text". What is that? What text is that? There are dozens of different Greek texts that disagree with each other in thousands of different places and some have 3,000 more or less words than the others. None of these texts are "the original"....the originals rotted out 1,900 years ago. Mr. Daly is a liar, there are NO originals.

Next Mr. Daly starts listing off different perversions of the word of God like a mad man. He has three different LISTS of perversions. Mr. Daly wants you to use many different authorities and not regard any of them as the inspired word of God. That is contrary to what the Bible says. Paul told Titus that he had "all authority" in "the faithful word" (Titus 1:9, 2:15). The Lord told us not to have more than one authority! "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other." (Matt. 6:24a) Paul said there is only ONE faith, but there are many corruptions (Eph. 4:5, Titus 1:9, 2 Cor. 2:17, 4:2).

Mr. Daly's last big error is when he says "The paraphrases are generally expansions of the text in that they aim to “restate” passages in another way in order to clarify meaning. This is not necessarily or inherently a bad approach" Not a bad approach? Paraphrasing God's word and passing that off as a complete copy of the scriptures is "not a bad approach"? Mr. Daly must not have ever read the Bible, because if he had then he would know that God CONDEMNS subtracting and changing His word.

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Proverbs 30:
[5] Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
[6] Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar
.

Jeremiah 23:
[29] Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
[30] Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour
.

Jeremiah 23:36 And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Revelation 22:
[18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
[19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book
.

Another thing Mr. Daly does is recommend the grossly corrupt ASV of 1901 that went bankrupt not 30 years after it came out. Mr. Daly says that it is the best of the versions but that it is difficult to find....why is the word of God hard to find? "The ASV-1901 is probably the best of such versions. It is difficult to buy a new ASV because to my knowledge no major publisher sells it." No publisher anywhere (to my knowledge) sells it, it went bankrupt and was replaced with the New American Standard.

Mr. Daly obviously knows nothing about the satanic corruption that is found in the modern perversions, notice that there is not a King James Bible in either of his recommended lists.

He recommended the NIV.....but look at all of the omissions it has

Matthew 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her  firstborn son.

This is why the NIV is missing 64,000 words and 15 entire verses!
Modern versions of the bible are based on Greek manuscripts from Alexandria, Egypt. No more than 50 Greek manuscripts represent the Alexandrian Text (also known as "critical text"). These are the manuscripts by which  the Catholic bibles and the Jehovah's Witnesses "New World Translation" come from. The two most famous of these manuscripts are Aleph (Siniaticus--discovered in 1844) and B (Vaticanus--discovered in the Roman Catholic Vatican library in 1481). Both teach that Jesus Christ was the "begotten God" (just like the Watch Tower Society) in John 1:18 instead of the "begotten Son" as it says in the King James Bible. The Vaticanus and Siniaticus manuscripts differ in 3,000 places in Gospels alone, and then they differ 4,000 more times in the rest of the New Testament. They both call Joseph the "Father" of Jesus Christ in Luke 2:33 where the King James Bible says "Joseph".

Vaticanus omits the books: 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews 9:15-13:25, and Revelation.

Vaticanus lacks these verses: Matthew 12:47; 16:2b-3; Matthew 17:21; 18:11; Matthew 23:14; 7:16; 9:44.46; 11:26; 15:28; Mark 16:9-20; 17:36, 22:43-22:44|44; 5:4, John 7:53-8:11; Acts 8:37; 15:34, 24:7; 28:29; Romans 16:24.

Vaticanus lacks major phrases from these verses: Matthew 5:44, Matthew 10:37, Matthew 15:6, Matthew 20:23, Mark 10:7, Mark 10:19, Luke 9:55-56, Luke 11:4, Luke 23:34, Acts 27:16.

Vaticanus adds these books: Maccabees, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus, Judith, Tobit, Baruch.

Siniaticus adds the epistle of Barnabas and the shepherd of Hermes to the New Testament and it adds Maccabees, Judith, Tobit, Sirach, and Wisdom to the Old Testament.

Siniaticus omits Genesis 23:19-24:46, Numbers 5:26-7:20, 1 Chronicles 9:27-19:17 from the Old Testament. It also omits the following verses from the New Testament: Matthew 12:47, 16:2b-3, 17:21, 18:11, Mark 7:16, 9:44, 9:46, 15:28, 16:9-20, Luke 17:36, 22:43-44, John 5:4, John 16:15, 20:5b-6, John 21:25, Romans 16:24.

Siniaticus also omits major phrases from these verses: Matthew 6:13, Matthew 13:35, Mark 1:1, Luke 23:34.

Vaticanus omits 2,877 words from the New Testament and Siniaticus omits 3,455 words from the New Testament.

The manuscript evidence for the Alexandrian Text of Egypt are these:

Papyrus: 15%  support the Alexandrian Text (or 13/88 manuscripts)
Unical: 3% support the Alexandrian Text (or 9/267 manuscripts)
Cursive: 1%  support the Alexandrian Text  (or 23/2764 mansucripts)
Lectionary: 0%  support the Alexandrian Text  (0/2143 manuscripts)

On the other hand, there is the "Textus Receptus" (Received Text) of Antioch, Syria (Antioch was the head quarters of the apostles and prophets in the New Testament--Acts 11:19-27, 13:1, 15:35, etc.). The Textus Receptus is what the Luther Bible was translated from, and also the Tyndale/Coverdale, Matthew's, Geneva, Bishop's, and finally the King James Bible.

The manuscript evidence for the Textus Receptus and King James Bible are these....

Papyrus: 85%  support the Textus Receptus (or 75/88 manuscripts)
Unical: 97% support the Textus Receptus (or 258/267 manuscripts)
Cursive: 99%  support the Textus Receptus (or 23/2764 mansucripts)
Lectionary: 100%  support the Textus Receptus (2143 manuscripts)

Also, most ancient translations support the Textus Receptus. This includes the following:

The Peshitta Version (AD 150),
The Italic Bible (AD 157),
The Waldensian (AD 120 & onwards),
The Gallic Bible (Southern France) (AD177),
The Gothic Bible (AD 330-350),
The Old Syriac Bible (AD 400),
The Armenian Bible (AD 400 There are 1244 copies of this version still in existence.),
The Palestinian Syriac (AD 450),
The French Bible of Oliveton (AD 1535),
The Czech Bible (AD 1602),
The Italian Bible of Diodati (AD 1606),
The Greek Orthodox Bible (Used from Apostolic times to the present day by the Greek Orthodox Church).

There are 86,000+ citations from scripture by the early "church fathers", most of these quotations support the Textus Receptus.

In total, the Textus Receptus is supported by 95% of the available information from the ancient translations, Greek manuscripts, and "church father" quotations.

Modern bible versions are based off the Egyptian Greek manuscripts that are highly corrupt.

Here are verses omitted in the ESV, NASB, NIV, and most other Alexandrian text-based versions.
Matthew 17:2, Matthew 18:1, Matthew 23:14, Mark 7:16, Mark 9:44, Mark 9:46, Mark 11:26, Mark 15:28, Luke 17:36, John 5:4, Acts 8:37, Acts 15:34, Acts 24:7, Acts 28:29, Romans 16:24, I John 5:7.
